Lawyers oppose Museveni’s view on judicial independence

KAMPALA: A group of lawyers has spoken out against President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s comments questioning the independence of the judiciary. The lawyers argue that the independence of the judiciary is guaranteed by the Constitution and therefore cannot be challenged or changed by the amendment.
