The ULS Pre-AGM and AGM 2024

The Uganda Law Society hosted the Annual General Meeting at Speke Resort Munyonyo on Saturday, September 28, 2024, preceded by the Pre-AGM on Friday, September 27th. This event saw the Presentation of the Annual Report and Election of the ULS Executive Council

During the 2024 AGM, over 3,000 advocates gathered in Munyonyo to cast their ballots for the new Steering Council for 2024-2025. The advocates’ urgent desire for a robust and proactive independent bar led to the establishment of the Radical New Bar, now headed by President Isaac Kimaze Ssemakadde.
